Education Programs

Overview

Through the education program, the Claremont Museum provides an insight into life in the past and, in the process, develops a student’s imagination and curiosity.

Our program is designed and delivered in the context of the Western Australian Curriculum with the aims of developing;

• an interest in and enjoyment of history
• a knowledge, understanding and appreciation of the past
• an understanding and use of historical concepts such as evidence, continuity and change, cause and effect
• a capacity to undertake historical inquiry, to explain and communicate.

Details

The education program costs $12.00 per child, teachers and parents are free of charge.

We offer the program on Monday and Tuesday in Terms 2 and 3.

A maximum of one class per booking, for larger groups please book multiple days.
