August Update

Dear residents,

The Town's approach to planning and delivering improved road safety practices was recognised during the recent WALGA Local Government Awards.

Proudly awarded a 4 Ribbon status, the Town was one of 75 RoadWise Councils acknowledged for its commitment to road safety.

We will continue to plan, implement, record and share local road safety actions for a safer road and transport system across the Town.

Two urban greening initiatives have been launched by the State Government.

The initiatives, Treebate and WA Tree Recovery Program, will see Western Australians receive a $150 rebate for planting a tree on their private property.

The program promises to be as easy as One, Two, Tree.

One: Buy a tree.

Two: Plant the tree.

Tree: Make a claim via ServiceWA.
